Backflow Device
Painting and Concealing
We recognize that while the backflow
prevention assemblies play an important role in protecting the
public drinking water, they are sometimes an eyesore in your lawn or
in front of your business. We offer the following advice and
services to help in that respect:
Backflow preventer
Concealing: The
device may be hidden from sight and
protected against vandalism inside a utility box or an
enclosure that blends into your landscape.

Backflow preventer painting:
The device can be painted to match the background and
attract less
attention to itself. You must use a special, durable paint that bonds
to PVC and metals, and be careful not to
spray the threads of the test cocks and the serial
number of the valve.
We can paint residential
backflow valves,
along with a test, for an additional $19.00
(Color choices are
Hunter Green or Gloss
Black)
