Our
Environmental Policy:
In addition to the
core of our business, which concerns itself with clean
water, we strive to be good environmental stewards in all
aspects of our daily operations. Also, we make efforts to
favor the local economy whenever possible.
Accordingly, our
internal business policies include the following:
- We strive to
buy all our supplies and materials locally
- We group our
work geographically to reduce truck travel, gas
consumption, and emissions
- We use
recycled paper for most of our paper correspondence
- We shred and
recycle our used paper
- We separate
all our corrugated board waste and recycle it at the
local transfer station
- We strive to
use American made plumbing materials and components
- We strive to
repair all valves as opposed to replacing them. Our
repair success rate averages 94% !
- When possible,
we refurbish old valves and reuse them for our valve
swap programs
- We use "Energy
Star" compliant computers
- We continuously challenge
ourselves to improve our service efficiency to become a
leaner and cleaner company.
