Our standard
service-call price is $75 minimum, and our hourly service
rate is only $75 plus parts.
We service and
repair most backflow prevention assemblies. We stock
parts for the most common assemblies. Here is some of the
information we will need if you are a first time customer:
(Most of it can be found on the test report if you have
one)
- Serial Number
(important if there are several valves nearby)
- Brand (Watts,
Wilkins, Ames...)
- Model (720-A,
950XL, 975XL,...)
- Type (PVB,
DCVA, RP,...)
- Size (3/4",
1", 2", ...)
- Location (left
side of house, inside fenced area, under fake rock...)
- Failure
information
Not all repairs are
the same, they depend on the type of failures, but most
repairs include at least the following:
- A seals and
gaskets replacement kit
- Internal parts
cleaning
- Test
cock
cleaning
- Full final
test and certification of repaired assembly
- Filing with
the city or local government that the assembly has been
repaired and tested: you don't need to do it.
